Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon
This is my second time beating this game, the first being on the 3DS and this time on the Switch 2. I like how one thing that makes this one stand out from the other Luigi's Mansion games is how you go to different areas and buildings like different worlds in the Mario games but I do feel they shouldn't do that in another installment of Luigi's Mansion because the vibe of Luigi's Mansion generally feels better when exploring one building or area or mansion, if you will. It makes sense for this story too, to do it this way but if it was done again then it will make it more into a style for the series as opposed to a specific style for this game and so Luigi's Mansion 2 would not stand out as its own game as much. And maybe Nintendo understands this as the third game all takes place in a hotel.
I like how more was added in regards to what you can do compared to the first game but the missions where you're leading Toad around can get pretty annoying. Those definitely took away from the pace of the game but thankfully there aren't too many of them. Besides that I don't have as much to say about this game besides it's a fun entry in the Luigi's Mansion series and a fun little ghost game to play during spooky season.
