OD Knock (Trailer)

I can’t wait for this game to come out or at least for more promotional material to be released. PT is one of my favorite gaming experiences ever and this feels like such a continuation of it. The mystery in its horror and its reference in vibe and artistry is hype inducing, I’m finding it hard to form coherent sentences.

All I know is Kojima definitely plans on outdoing his work on PT and makes this promise to us with one simple action seen in the OD Knock trailer. The action being the end or the climax. So in PT, whenever the ghost of Lisa approaches you, she gets behind you and you are safe if you don’t turn to look behind you. But in OD Knock, this shows the main character is not safe even when she decides to not turn and look behind her. The implication is that even though in PT there was a safe stare of refuge that can exist, in OD Knock, that one safe state no longer exists and I feel that was the main purpose of this trailer.
