Ghost: Skeletour 8/9/25
I had the pleasure of getting to see a Ghost concert when they were at the MGM Grand Garden Arena here in Las Vegas. Now I have never gotten too much into their music but I’ve recently been a little more into similar style thanks to The Old Gods of Asgard in the Alan Wake games. But I always been interested in seeing Ghost perform, as I have seen videos and heard about their live shows and all the theatrics and this one definitely had hype with it, considering they made everyone use cell phone pouches so no one can use their phones during the show, only show I have ever been to before that did that was a set I saw Bill Burr do a couple years ago. And I’m happy to say when it comes to the Ghost concert, they did not disappoint.
The show was awesome with spectacles of pyrotechnics, and great dynamic light show and fireworks to top it off. Even with not knowing the songs nearly as well as 99% of the rest of everyone there, it was still a lot of fun and a great show to even just sit back and watch. I would definitely want to see them again sometime. Great rock show vibes and a greater show all around. It reminded me of one of my favorite concerts ever, the third one I’ve ever been to, the Nine Inch Nails Lights in the Sky Tour almost 20 years ago. Of course as a NIN fan, I had a lot more fun at that one but this one is definitely one I’d recommend for anyone who wants a great rock show that feels like something from the 80’s with the dark aesthetic of rock from the 90’s.
